Secondary school languages teacher passionate about transmitting the beauty of English language and literature

I always start off my classes with what I call a "do now" activity, which allows you to retrieve knowledge of previous lessons and me to quickly assess your level. We then move on to the main body of the lesson, which I constantly display through images and videos to ensure engaging activities take place. Once I have explained the topic of the day, we have a little practice together, which is then followed by a similar exercise, carried out by you individually. I obviously take any questions in between but before the lesson ends I always attempt to get as close to 100% succes from you by presenting a simple low-stakes quiz, which recaps the objective of the lesson. My primary goal is that you learn in the most fun way possible, and that you walk out of the lesson feeling enlightened and satisfied with your own progress.
