Foreign language teacher at Teach First and qualified TEFL teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the aviation industry.
Currently undergoing the National Professional Qualification in Leading Teaching through Teach First.
Skilled in translation, communication, easily adaptable, creativity skills, time and people management.
Strong support professional with a Bachelor of Arts focused in Comparative Literature with French at UCL and a Postgraduate Diploma of Education in Modern Foreign Languages at IOE.
I am a secondary school languages teacher based in London, but don't let yourself judge the book by its cover because I am actually fully Italian. I started off learning French as a second language since I was 14 and have managed to obtain an undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature with French with great commitment and effort, but mostly immense passion, the same I wish to convey to my students.
I always start off my classes with what I call a "do now" activity, which allows you to retrieve knowledge of previous lessons and me to quickly assess your level. We then move on to the main body of the lesson, which I constantly display through images and videos to ensure engaging activities take place. Once I have explained the topic of the day, we have a little practice together, which is then followed by a similar exercise, carried out by you individually. I obviously take any questions in between but before the lesson ends I always attempt to get as close to 100% success from you by presenting a simple low-stakes quiz, which recaps the objective of the lesson. My primary goal is that you learn in the most fun way possible, and that you walk out of the lesson feeling enlightened and satisfied with your own progress.
