Maths, Further Maths and Physics tutor for all ages up to A-Level

I have experience tutoring students doing GCSE's and A-Levels, and I can teach all exam boards. I obtained A*A*A in A-levels for Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I am confident in teaching these subjects.

For new students I usually start off the lesson with some questions to see the student's capabilities within a certain topic/sub-topic. For repeat students I cover some questions/topics that was taught in the previous lesson as well as go through the homework I've set the previous week to make sure we go through any questions they may have struggled with.

After correcting mistakes I then move on to the current lesson and start teaching the topic the student wants me to go over. I teach him/her all the key information required to know by the exam board itself and also what is noted on the specification (since this is what the student is assessed on in exams). Then I do a couple of exam questions and show the step-by-step method of reaching the answer. Also, I give the student a few exam questions during the lesson to see if they are understanding the content and just to see how much progress they have made.

I always make sure the student understands every step that I go over and fully comprehends the subject knowledge as this is key to achieving the best grades. I set weekly homework to make sure the student does active revision between lessons
