Hi, my name is Hawi Gondwe. I am a guitar tutor and guitarist with over 35 years experience of playing professionally and 17 years teaching. In my playing career I have worked with George Michael, Sinead O’ Connor and Amy Winehouse among many others. With my teaching I have taught in schools, colleges and at seminars. Currently most of my teaching is private with some face to face lessons where I travel to the students, most where I they travel to me and the majority of all teaching, since the pandemic, taking place online. I can instruct in all styles of popular music from Rock, pop and soul to Jazz and acoustic fingerstyle as well as teach theory, songwriting and use of home studio equipment such as Apple’s Logic Studio software.
