Hi there! I am Tanishka and I am a tutor based in the UK looking for new students in the subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for years 5-13. I can teach 11+, GCSE, A-Levels, KS2, KS3 and boards AQA, Edexcel, OCR, IGCSE, ICSE, CBSE.
I am a friendly, passionate and encouraging tutor who will provide you with all the guidance, exam-preparedness and confidence you need to overcome any of your maths phobia. I have recently completed my Cambridge International A-Levels in Math, Physics, Chemistry and German and have secured straight A*s and As in all of them. I also secured an overall 95% in my 10th grade in ICSE curriculum.
Apart from my excellent academic background, I have 3 years of experience as a private home tutor for the above mentioned subjects. My teaching pedagogy focuses predominantly on the fundamentals and the basic understanding of a concept. I am a very patient tutor and give simple and concise approaches to difficult questions by breaking them down into smaller and easily-understandable bits. I can adopt different methodologies and tools tailored to each student and their learning style and I swear by the Socratic method which all my students find beneficial. Our classes will always be two way and I will try my best for them to be enjoyable and interactive. Throughout our classes together, I will make sure you are taking initiative and are able to solve them independently before seeking my help. With the help of homework, topical and unit tests, I will track your performance and thereby know how to push forward.
