Tanishka Verma

Hi there! I am Tanishka and I am a tutor based in the UK looking for new students in the subjects Mathematics, Chemistry, English for years 5-11. I am a friendly, passionate and encouraging tutor who will provide you with all the guidance, exam-preparedness and confidence you need to overcome any of your subject phobia, frustration and boredom. I have recently completed my Cambridge International A-Levels in Math, Physics, Chemistry and German and have secured straight A*s and As in all of them. I also secured an overall 95% in my 10th grade in ICSE curriculum. Regardless I have also had some bad days where some topics seemed exceptionally hard so trust me when I say, I know where you are coming from!
Apart from my academic background, I have 2 years of experience as a private home tutor for the above mentioned subjects. My teaching pedagogy focuses predominantly on the fundamentals and the basic understanding of a concept. I am a very patient tutor and give simple and concise approaches to difficult questions by breaking them down into smaller and easily-understandable bits. I am a true believer of the fact that every student is different and can adopt different methodologies and tools tailored to each student and their learning style. Our classes will always be two way and I will try my best for them to be enjoyable and interactive. Throughout our classes together, I will make sure you are taking initiative and are able to solve them independently before seeking my help. With the help of homework, topical and unit tests, I will track your performance and thereby know how to push forward.
