Advert description
I recently finished my MA in Print at the Royal College of Art, where I had an opportunity to organize many academic educational events such as public programs, talks, crits, etc. I had the pleasure to be a Guest Speaker and Tutor at the Plymouth College of Art, which provided me a handful of experiences adapting to different types of people from various backgrounds and age groups. Because of the pandemic - I have quite a lot of experience managing academic work online (both tutoring itself and management), which is necessary and can be beneficial to your team.
Thanks to my education (BA in Architecture and MA in Print), I managed to develop quite a diverse set of skills: from architecture 3d modeling to academic drawing, from photography to classic print technics (etching, woodcut, screen-print, etc.), from abstract painting to site-specific installations. I have a good knowledge of digital software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Indesign, SketchUp, ArchiCAD.
After working as a stage photographer (for the Euterpe music studio) - I’m more than able to work within the pressure and tight deadlines. I have no problems in building efficient communication and collaborating with different types of people and professions.
With my recent experience as a printmaker at Make-Ready - I produced quite a few limited editions silkscreen art prints with well-known artists such as Ayako Rokkaku, Miles Aldridge, Scott Kahn and many more.
I believe I would be a suitable candidate for this position thanks to my ability to help building a project-based art practice, as this notion is highly adaptable to circumstances (with restrictions and limitations that come with it). I would love to show students how to resolve problems and reach their goals most efficiently and creatively.
