I have a degree in English from the University of Toronto, and have worked as a writer at the University and elsewhere most of my professional life. I became a teacher later and had great rapport with students due to my ability to understand their needs and approach their challenges in ways that were customised for them. This ranged from students at the top of the class who wanted to break through to a new level, to students who openly admitted they hated English and reading. In some capacity, I was able to help every student. I can help you too.

I have 12 years of experience as a teacher across the IGCSE and IB curriculums across four continents. I have built connections with people in many cultures and try to give every student exactly what they want out of the learning experience. I enjoy what I do. I have taught extensively in person and thanks to Covid, have also gained extensive online teaching experience.
