I have developed strong leadership skills for five year and during my two years stay in France, I honed my interpersonal relations

I had teaching experience for 5 years, during my academic years, mathematics has always been the core of my engineering courses. In fact, mathematics is my favorite subjects. I was a mathematics tutor for one year during the compulsory one year national services. At home, I teach my children, read with them and help them prepare for the school examinations. Throughout my 10 years work experience in my place of work, I found myself interacting, encouraging, motivating and engaging students on daily basis on science subjects, but mostly mathematics. Students do come around to my office for explanation to mathematics concepts and solutions to some difficulty exercises. I am always excited to help and I enjoyed the teaching. This experience over the years pique my interest in wanting to teach, when the idea of career change come to my mind. My ambition to teach mathematics to young people is driven by the fact that I love mathematics and the feedback from my students is highly encouraging. Then I believe I have what it takes to be a good mathematics teacher. Through tutoring, I have developed an understanding of the individual needs of students, such as dyslexia or lack of confidence and this will help me in teaching, as I would be able to promote self-esteem and confidence in students and influence their appreciation for learning.
