Advert description
I have 4 years of experience tutoring children aged 4-16 in Maths and English. I understand that everyone has a different approach to learning so lessons will always be tailored to the individual needs of the student. I firmly believe that inspiring teachers are vital in shaping students' interests so I do all I can to share my enthusiasm for maths and physics!
I am currently a student at Imperial College London studying Earth and Planetary Science (combining maths, physics and geography to understand natural systems on Earth and other planets!)
I offer tutoring for secondary school students years 7-11. At GCSE level I teach Maths, Physics, Geography and History, having excelled in these subjects at A-Level.
Having completed my GCSEs and A-Levels in the past 5 years, I can provide detailed knowledge of the best study resources and exam technique under the current exam system as well as teaching the course-content to a high standard.
I also have experience tutoring younger children so I am happy to provide 1-to-1 sessions with students in primary school.
Lessons are typically conducted in an hour long video call where I share my screen with the student to demonstrate workings. I am very happy to adapt this format to suit the needs of the student.
I have included my A-Level and GCSE grades below to give an indication of my background.
A-Levels:
A* Maths
A Physics
A* History
A* Geography
A* Welsh Baccalaureate
GCSEs:
13A*s and a distinction in Additional Maths
