Advert description
I am currently studying medicine in Cardiff university and hold a degree in medical pharmacology. My dissertation on Alzheimer's disease and the complement system has not only expanded my medical knowledge but also refined my ability to communicate complex and critical concepts clearly and effectively, particularly in an educational setting. I have achieved high grades in both my AS levels and Foundation year. Having completed high school in Korea and commenced A-level studies thereafter, I am attuned to the challenges faced by international students. My experience in independently studying for AS levels has provided me with valuable insights into effective study strategies and methods for improving academic performance.
I have rigorously prepared for medical school admissions, including personal statements, UCAT, BMAT, and extracurricular activities, which has given me a comprehensive understanding of the UK medical school admissions process. This preparation led to an interview invitation from Cambridge University, and I successfully secured offers from all three schools where I interviewed for Graduate Entry Medicine. Beyond academics, I have gained practical experience working in a UK care home and have extensive experience tutoring A-level students. These roles have honed my diligence and multitasking abilities. To further enhance my communication skills, I am currently learning British Sign Language.
