As an enthusiastic English instructor with over twelve years of experience in the field, I am absolutely certain I possess all the skills, qualifications, and experience necessary to help my students achieve their language learning goals. Over the course of this enriching journey which I call My Career, I have accumulated a B.A. in English, English language and linguistics, a technical diploma in Computer Information Systems Technology, a Level 5 Teaching English as a Foreign Language diploma, complimented by an ESP certificate in Teaching Business English, and more than a decade of professional practice as an EFL/ESOL instructor.
Being a native English speaker from the United States of America, as well as a fluent hispanohablante (Spanish), an intermediate deutschsprachiger (German), and a competent practitioner of American Sign Language, I have accrued a deep understanding of language acquisition and pedagogical strategies. I can communicate effectively with students of different linguistic and cultural backgrounds, and my strong interpersonal skills, highlighted by flexibility, patience, empathy, and adaptability, make me an ideal instructor for English learners of all levels.
Although I am quite comfortable utilizing prearranged teaching materials and methodologies when required to do so, I can also be creative with my lesson planning and innovative in my approach. Positivity is a powerful tool in language learning, and I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment which encourages students to challenge themselves and achieve their highest potential.
