Experienced retired teacher (Primary and Secondary). Tutor for all ages. Maths & Chemistry upto GCSE and Biology upto A level

I have a degree in PLant Science and a PGCE qualification. I am a retired teacher with 30+ years experience of teaching in the Primary and Secondary sectors. Since retiring I have been tutoring from home, face to face and via Zoom online. I have supported children who attend school with their learning needs; preparation for entrance examinations to grammar schools; GCSE examinations (particularly Maths) and also taught home- schooled students (all the content) for GCSEs in English Literature, Maths and Biology.
I try to use engaging materials and methods that suit individual students. The feedback I receive from students and parents has always been very positive, e.g. "the only bits I got right on the test were the bits you taught me" Year 9 Maths and " for the first time ever she finished the whole test in the time allowed" parent of Year 5 Maths.
