English Tutor experienced with diverse students of all ages

For the last seven years, I have dedicated myself to tutoring English to a variety of learners, including ESL students, disabled students, and students with a nontraditional background. My goal is to help students find their voice and express themselves as completely and authentically as possible. I customize each lesson to the individual learner, adapting to their needs as well as their personal interests. It is also essential to create a judgement-free environment in which mistakes are used as learning tools instead of failures.

Beyond my teaching philosophy, I graduated from a top public university with my B.A. in English three years ago. During my years at university, I saw the positive impacts of an inclusive environment and learned invaluable teaching techniques from renowned instructors. Most of all, I found that learning should be engaging and fun for both instructor and student!
