Sarina Kemme

For the past seven years, I have dedicated myself to tutoring a diverse set of learners, including ESL students, disabled students, and students with nontraditional backgrounds. I specialize in English remote instruction and have experience with individuals of all age groups. I believe it is essential for students to find their voice and represent themselves as completely and authentically as possible. My goal is to empower students to express themselves and their ideas successfully, preparing them for the professional world.

A little more about me and my sessions: I graduated with a B.A. in English from the top public American university about three years ago. My teaching philosophy is to make content engaging, relatable, and enjoyable for students. Because I like to prioritize the unique needs of every student, it is important that they can identify with the subject material at hand. For that reason, I tailor each lesson to the individual's needs and interests. Sometimes this might mean freewriting exercises; other times it could be picking out a story that the student is drawn to or discussing their entertainment interests in an academic context.

Whether you only have a basic grasp on the language or are looking to delve deeper into English literature or language, I will adapt the lessons to suit your individual needs.
