Advert description
I have recently completed my undergraduate degree at St John's College at the University of Cambridge where I received an overall 2:1 grade. My dissertation was awarded a 1st class grade and I was awarded the William Vaughan Lewis prize from my department as a result.
Throughout my degree I studied modules that spanned both physical and human geography. In my final year, I studied glaciation, biogeography, a science and policy paper and a paper focusing on the cryosphere (i.e., de-colonial approaches to studying the three poles, resource scarcity etc). My dissertation focused on the use of tree ring stable isotope analysis as a proxy for understanding past climate conditions.
I come from a predominantly STEM background, having taken Geography, Biology and Mathematics A level, where I received A*, A*, A respectively.
