Guitar & Bass Tuition, Composition, Songwriting and Ukulele

I have been working in Education for the past 24 years.
In my previous role as a technician at Bideford College, I was also employed as a peripatetic Guitar Tutor for seven years, teaching, Guitar and Bass to students from Year 17 to 13.

In my current role at Budehaven School, I have worked with the music department, on productions and classroom demonstration, recording (GCSE & A Level) and performances.
I have throughout all of that time also taken part in adult tuition. One to one private lessons and run adult education weekends focussing on Blues and song composition.
During 'Lockdown' I ran online guitar tuition lessons, specifically looking at musical theory for the guitar and bass from simple chord and key understanding to advance modal melody soloing.

I have continued to play live music ever since the age of 15 and currently play in an acoustic trio playing our own compositions and cover versions.

I have a genuine passion for sharing the benefits of music, and inspiring people of all ages to play, perform and understand music.

As a younger player, I graduated in Foundation Blues from the Guitar Institute in London.

As a school employee, I am fully CRB checked.
