GCSE, A-Levels and 1st year University tutor

My background/qualifications:
I graduated Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand with a Bachelors of Science majoring in Chemistry and a minor in Calculus. Maths and Science has always been a strong suit of mine, I was awarded a Scholarship to my University thanks to my secondary school results and was able to finish my degree in only 3 years due to being fast tracked through some maths papers again due to my grades. I graduated in 2020, since then I have tutored many secondary school students by helping with in-class problems and teaching them my own methods to prepare for tests and exams.

I am based near Newton Abbot, Devon and will travel to you for in person tutoring sessions (travel details to be discussed privately) or online tutoring done through Zoom.

Cost per hour £20

I understand that each student is different and base each session around their needs depending on what they are struggling with. I aim to build confidence in the subject so that the student can feel more comfortable heading into exams or in their class environment.

About Me:
I am knowledgable and passionate about the subjects I tutor. I have patience with my students and understand that everyone is different when it comes to learning. I have many tips and tricks for students of all levels and always keep in mind that I have been in those shoes; struggling with class problems and topics or freaking out about exams. These years of education can be a really stressful time but don't worry I am here to help!
