About me

My background/qualifications:
I graduated Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand with a Bachelors of Science majoring in Chemistry and a minor in Calculus. Maths and Science has always been a strong suit of mine, I was awarded a Scholarship to my University thanks to my secondary school results and was able to finish my degree in only 3 years due to being fast tracked through some maths...

I graduated Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand with a Bachelors of Science majoring in Chemistry and a minor in Calculus. Maths and Science has always been a strong suit of mine, I was awarded a Scholarship to my University thanks to my secondary school results and was able to finish my degree in only 3 years due to being fast tracked through some maths papers again due to my grades. I graduated in 2020, since then I have tutored many secondary school students by helping with in-class problems and teaching them my own methods to prepare for tests and exams.

University Level Calculus and Chemistry - First year

I understand that each student is different and base each session around their needs depending on what they are struggling with. I aim to build confidence in the subject so that the student can feel more comfortable heading into exams or in their class environment.

About Me:
I am knowledgable and passionate about the subjects I tutor. I have patience with my students and understand that everyone is different when it comes to learning. I have many tips and tricks for students of all levels and always keep in mind that I have been in those shoes; struggling with class problems and topics or freaking out about exams. These years of education can be a really stressful time but don't worry I am here to help!

I was born in Devon but i have lived in NZ for the last 18 years, I have finally returned to my home town to live and work for the next few years. My previous students are all back in NZ hence I have no reviews on this site. Please feel free to contact me and I can put you in touch with some of my previous students and they can share their experiences of having me as their tutor.

storm helped me study for my maths and chemistry before my final level 2 ncea exams, i was struggling in class and struggled with the practise exam which led to me being stressed. Storm helped me study and gave me her time and effort to complete my practise exams which gave me the confidence to complete and pass the exams. She was patient and supportive with the way i learn and helped me with the results i thought i would never get.

I have previously been tutored by Storm in Maths. She tutored me in high school and helped my understanding of the subject significantly. I found her enjoyable to learn with, she was patient, understanding and willing to work with multiple strategy’s to further my understanding. She was a pleasure to learn from and helped significantly!
