I teach anyone over the age of 9. I teach to the candidates' exam requirements, or my World History if no exam requirement

If there is no immediate pressing examination need, I teach the History of the World I have taught since I became Head of a Grammar School History Department in 1974, as modified when I became Head of a comprehensive school History Department in 1978. So committed was I to the idea that any history of a smaller area than the world must be hopelessly biased, that when the National Curriculum of 1990 enforced the National History curriculum which was not only restricted to British History, but was chronologically jumbled as well, I left the state sector and continued to teach my World History for the remaining 14 years of my career. If, now, a candidate has a specific exam requirement, I teach that. After retirement I taught in India, France and Serbia. The form will not let me say that I also teach Latin and French up to GCSE, In the Summer of 2022 I presented three candidates, two aged 15 and one aged 13 for GCSE in Latin, and they all passed.
