15 years private tutoring face to face or remotely and 14 years supporting the subject in both primary and secondary schools. 10 years in current secondary Academy, all year groups. I usually set a quick 10 question starter which leads on to the learning objective where I cover the lesson topic, explaining the concepts and showing worked examples and will interact with the students should they have any questions before I give them either a worksheet or book work on the specific subject to check their understanding of the topic, where I will circulate the classroom to support any students finding the topic a challenge or just to see how confident the students are and how they are finding the task before finally going through the solutions with the class and discussing any discrepancies.
