My lessons are aimed at anyone, at any stage, who wants to deepen their learning and engage with humanities and english with a passionate tutor!

I am passionate and serious about the freedom that learning can provide - not only intellectually, but personally - I really value how knowledge can connect us to who we are and what we truly value in life. My main focus in University was philosophy, and as such I am deeply concerned with encouraging an expansive and rounded approach to learning, encouraging my students to think deeply about the application and value of our lessons beyond the session. I am organised - freelancing regularly as a journalist, and as such my time management and written skills are excellent. I have a broad depth of experience studying various subjects at degree level due to the interdisciplinary nature of my BA - English, Art History, Philosophy, International Relations, and History are a few examples. I have previous experience tutoring children who struggle to attend school, crafting personalised lessons to boost their confidence, establish schedules and ground rules, and supplementing their prior knowledge. As such, my approach is highly individual-based and puts a large emphasis on the skills gained beyond the curriculum, though is nonetheless rigourous.
