Oxford Graduate, Enthusiastic and Engaging Spanish & English Tutor

Hi! I’m Lucy, a recent graduate from Oxford University with a passion for teaching.

I have been a tutor for over 5 years now, and what I enjoy most about the job is helping give you confidence in a subject. I take a past paper approach to tutoring, meaning we will be constantly applying and assessing everything we learn to past papers. This will ultimately help you understand what you’re learning for, whilst giving you confidence along the way! I also know that no child is the same, and will adapt all lessons to best suit you and your learning style. I think tutoring should be a fun, relaxed environment where you are supported and can see your development week by week.

I enjoy teaching English Literature and Language up to GCSE level, and Spanish up to A-Level and beyond. I have taught the majority of exam boards in these subjects (AQA, Edexel, OCR) I am also able to provide university admission support, specifically for Spanish and Linguistics. My especial interests are essay writing and creative writing.

I also have a background in teaching to Primary school students, and am confident in providing Common Entrance and Academic Scholarship exam preparation.
