I have a native level on the english Language and have worked with people in the past who may be learning ESOL

I have two parents who have both taken ESOL courses and being a native english speaker i have helped them to understand any assignments/homeworks, further their knowledge by assisting them by speaking english to them and correcting any grammar issues that they may be struggling with; I feel that I am quite able to help you in this position. At GCSE I did Achieve a 7 and a 6 in Language and Literature respectively. Living with two parents who did not know/understand english I feel I can understand broken english to a high level which I feel is a vital skill to posses when being a tutor to pupils who are learning English as a Foreign Languge.

My lessons are usually person-based, Focusing on what the pupil is struggling most on and just touching up on what the pupil feels they are doing well in. I prefer to teach my lessons along side their courses; usually a few days behind so that they are revisitting any lessons that they have done further solidifying their knowledge. I like to also test my pupils is various different methods just to make sure that they are progressing and get accurate feedback on what they are doing good/struggling with.
