Teaches foundation and higher level across all exam boards

My name is Mariyah and I have a first class bachelors honours degree in neuroscience. This makes me very knowledgeable in the science area, particularly biology and chemistry. During my years as an undergraduate, I also worked hard alongside as a tutor providing support to GCSE students. I enjoy teaching and assisting students reaching their goals. I do this by always planning my lessons in advance, and tailoring it to their needs. This is done by identifying their areas of strength and weaknesses. I like to test their level of understanding by doing many past papers and give extensive feedback on how they can improve. I am comfortable with any exam board for GCSE biology and chemistry and have access to the right resources to help students improve their knowledge and understanding. Previously, as a tutor I have been successful in helping students achieve their target grades, which has always been a top priority. Overall, I am hardworking and passionate person who enjoys working with others. I am great at communicating and aim to make students feel confident in their subject area so that they are ready for their exams. I value the importance of having a good education and embarking on a successful career.
