The lessons which I teach include English and Maths functional skills. These involve helping learners to gain the English and Maths which they can apply to assist them with their daily lives. Such skills include maths (for budgeting and time-keeping) and English (formal and informal writing and reading skills - as well as interpersonal communication) skills. An example of an English functional skill which I teach is formal letter-writing to apply for a job.
