I have the skills to teach a range of levels with students from diverse backgrounds thanks to my previous Visiting Lecturer position. Flexible in teaching approach based on the specific needs and learning style of the individual.

We will use the assessment criteria and marking rubrics to our advantage. First sessions will explore the module/assignment you need help with, going through key content and assessment details. We will decide upon a high optimistic grade to aim for and also the minimum grade you would like to achieve. The following sessions will work through writing styles, referencing, key ideas/themes and current research trends. In each, we will work through examples for the high grade and the minimum grade and try to improve your work to meet your potential.

We can also explore effective ways of producing work, spanning from how to plan and break up tasks all the way to how to begin writing and synthesising research. If you are interested in how best to use AI software to improve and support your work then this is also something that can be explored. I have experience in using AI both as a student and as a lecturer so I have deep knowledge of where you can or cannot use AI as well as how to best use it to support your work (not write it for you!). There are many useful aspects to AI that are perfectly acceptable where academics conducting real world research are also now starting to understand the benefits.
