Guitar/Bass/Ukulele lessons at competitive rates

I have a degree in Guitar and Composition from the Birmingham conservatoire. I've been teaching privately since 2016. I've helped a few students pass their grades and I have no problem with that style of teaching but ideally I prefer to help students pursue their own idiosyncratic musical interests.

I'm a prolific songwriter so my lessons tend to lean towards musicianship, composition, ear training, theory etc. all the techniques that would be needed to start writing your own music. I can of course just teach straightforward guitar technique for students who only want to develop that aspect of their musicality.

Rates are £17 30mins, £28 1hr.

I can travel up to 3 miles for lessons (I'm based in Moseley) or you can come to my residence. Online lessons are also an option though I don't have much experience with that approach. Typically, adult students come to my house and have 1 hr lessons - with child students I usually go to the family home and give 30 min lessons (children's attention span isn't usually suited to 1hr lessons).

I can teach classical, folk, pop, rock etc on Acoustic and electric guitars, Bass and Uke.
