I have a degree in guitar and composition from the Birmingham Conservatoire. I've been teaching guitar privately for 6 years. I teach Classical, Rock, Pop, Folk etc. and have coached students to pass grades up to Grade 5. I also offer song writing and music theory tuition. I prefer an informal approach with an emphasis on ear training so that the student can become a complete musician rather than a musician who feels lost without some sheet music in front of them. I am an accomplished songwriter and an optimal choice for students who wish to learn guitar playing and musicality in the Rock/Pop vein.
