With over five years of voluntary tutoring experience, I am well-equipped to help students achieve their academic goals and foster a deeper understanding of complex scientific concepts. I expertly understand and apply various effective teaching and learning methods, including spaced repetition, retrieval practice, self-generated memory cues, flipped learning etc. which are all backed by cognitive science research. Being published at a young age in a Harvard GSAS journal with recognition of the national IRIS Best Researcher Award, I bring a strong research-oriented approach to my tutoring. My experience in tutoring ranges across my 5 A-Levels of Extended Project, Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in which I achieved A*A*A*AB respectively.
