English and Maths Tutor, Entry Level to Functional Skills Level 2 and 1-9 GCSE

I am qualified at Level 4 (Proofreading and Editing) in English and have two A* grades at GCSE English. I have a GCSE A in Maths (as well as Functional Skills Maths, above Level 2) and a Level 4 NVQ in Supporting Learning. My grammar and punctuation skills are strong; I have extensive experience of supporting learners' learning in these areas, and of assisting numerous learners to succeed in end-of-year exams.
As part of my daily work, I support adult learners with disabilities to develop their functional skills in English, Maths and ICT. This enables each learner to succeed in Functional Skills and GCSE exams at the end of every college year.
My lessons are either 1:1, 1:2 and/or small-group-based. They focus on your specific learning and development needs within each subject. If you struggle in any particular field of English, Maths or ICT, I will provide tailored support to help you to learn techniques and skills to overcome any learning barriers.
My lessons are directed to suit each individual learner, her/his learning style and level of learning, according to a well-researched, robust lesson plan.
