To establish trust with my students, I will first create an open and nonjudgmental environment. I will express genuine interest in their points of view and concerns with their studies, as well as empathy and understanding. I will emphasise my commitment to their development and success, as well as my availability for assistance outside of class. In terms of teaching, I'll encourage active participation by inviting questions and discussions to foster a collaborative learning environment. I'll use relatable examples from my learning to demonstrate the importance of psychological concepts. I'll offer constructive feedback and guidance, allowing them to navigate challenges on their own. In terms of tutoring, I may not be the most qualified. However, I recently completed my A-levels and received an "A" in Psychology and I averaged a 2:1 in my first year of Psychology at the University of Birmingham.
