I am an experienced teacher, tutor, lecturer and currently act as Dissertation Supervisor.
I have a PhD in Psychology and a MSc in research methods and statistics (psychology); I also taught this subject at the University of Liverpool, for 5 years.
I understand that everyone is different and I use different examples methods to aid individual understanding.
I have extensive teaching experience, supporting students in the use of SPSS, AMOS and JASP. I offer support in running and interpreting a wide range of statistical analyses at under and postgrad level (t-tests, ANOVAs, Regressions, Mediation, Moderation and more). I can also provide feedback on reports.
I have supervised undergraduate students through conducting their own systematic reviews, through designing and conducting their own studies, study set-up on Qualtrics, statistical analyses and report-writing.
I have been module co-ordinator for a Year-3 Module and have been responsible for generating assessments and marking on several psychology and statistics related modules (I am very familiar with university-level exam boards).
I have also acted as an Academic Advisor to small groups of students from each year of undergrad, which involves general support and guidance (both personal and academic).
I try to make students feel as comfortable as possible so that they can ask as many questions as they need to, until the concept/theory etc., makes sense to them - Everyone is different and areas need to be explained in different ways to different people (questions help!).
I can offer support and guidance via online sessions or via written feedback on work.
