I currently work as an undergreaduate and postgraduate dissertation supervisor. I taught psychological concepts, research methods and statistics in psychology (I have a Masters in this subject too) at the University of Liverpool, for 5 years, along side completing my PhD in the development of emotional distress.
I teach students how to use SPSS, AMOS and JASP. I can offer guidance on running and interpreting a wide range of statistical analyses at under and postgrad level.
I also supervise undergraduate students through: conducting systematic reviews; designing and conducting their own studies; report-writing.
I am responsible for marking on several psychology modules and I am very familiar with university-level exam boards.
I am the module co-ordinator for a Year-3 Module.
I have acted as an Academic Advisor and personal tutor to a group of students from each year of undergrad, which involves general support and guidance (both personal and academic).
I have been an online tutor for approx. two years and can adapt lessons to suit a range of learning styles.
I try to make students feel as comfortable as possible so that they can ask as many questions as they need to, until the concept/theory etc. makes sense to them - Everyone is different and areas need to be explained in different ways to different people (questions help!).
I have 1 child at uni and 2 schoola ages children who help inform my teaching style too :)
