My Native language is English with a sound knowledge of English grammar and spelling and extensive vocbulary

I have a first class degree in Applied Social work which requires a high level of English language.

I have GCSEs in both English Language and English Literature and have A Level English Literature.

I like to read both fiction and non fiction books and enjoy discussing these with my friends at our book club which we started in lock down and have continued.

In my role as a social worker i have to write assessments for different audiences and so have to modify the level of language used accordingly.

I have also written reports for the court arena which meant I had to write in a concise and clear way but still be able to submit strong evidence.

My previous role as a social worker required me to evidence continuing professional development. This entailed me sourcing relevant learning materials from varying sources so I am adept at looking for new and different ways of widening knowledge and experience.

I am organised and punctual and like to prepare so you can expect me to have prepared and planned lessons in advance, like to keep to time so will try my best to keep to schedule.

I like my lessons to be fun, interactive and welcome open discussion and debate. I am aware of different learning styles so would adapt sessions to suit your individual learning preferences.
