I have Qualified Teachers status and was awarded a Merit in my PGCE from Sheffield Hallam University. Before teaching, I was an EAL tutor to children ages 5-15 for 8 months.
I have a keen interest in helping children with their literacy skills including reading, comprehension, questioning and creative and persuasive writing. I also have an academic focus on religious studies, especially Islam and Christianity.
