Hello!

My name is Kate, I was a teacher in a large secondary school but now I want to tutor online.
Online learning is very different than learning in person, but I will try my best to make it an enjoyable and engaging experience. I will use slides, videos, tasks, activities, games and worksheets.
My lessons will be an hour long, unless requested otherwise.
Lessons may look different depending on the learner.

10 minutes - Basic Overview of the lesson (introducing topic/focus) and starter activity.
25 minutes - Focused learning
20 minutes - Task (applying learning)
5 minutes - Reflection and homework set.

“Homework” can be a challenge, a worksheet or a creative task! Learning should be fun, not a chore.
