Languages tutor specialising in one-to-one or multiple languages in parallel

With an undergraduate degree in Germanic Linguistics with Hispanic Studies and a Masters in linguistics, I am passionate about improving language learning and, most of all, in making it fun! I am also widely published on language learning, including my recent book "Western European Languages - A Reference Guide".

With my tutoring, you are in charge - it is your journey! My objective is to act as a helper with your language learning, wherever it may take you. Ultimately, I firmly of the view that the journey is what it is all about, and that it has to be fun and motivating!

I particularly enjoy starting by teaching several (related) languages at once, inspiring a real sense of enjoyment and intrigue from the outset. I also like to focus on efficiency - quick routes to maximising vocabulary and perfecting phonology - routes which are not generally taught in schools or universities.

I operate on Zoom and am happy to teach German/Dutch, French/Italian, Spanish/Portuguese (as groupings), English as a foreign language, or even Esperanto - whichever Western European language or group of languages is your interest, I can help you along the way for as long or as short as you wish!
