This is your language learning journey - I am here to partner you, maximising the efficiency of your understanding of the concepts of language learning and how to acquire and maximise vocabulary, key phonological points and core grammatical structure.

I do like to touch on the background of the language, so you hear not just how things are but also why they are that way - I believe most people acquire knowledge better when they know the "why" not just the "what".

Fundamentally, any skill will only be acquired if you are motivated to acquire it, and that means the journey must be *fun*! I am here to add intrigue, to make you think in ways you perhaps had not thought before, and to help you learn not just points of linguistic competence but also how you yourself can maximise self-study time to become even more competent.

While I do not believe it is the only thing necessary, I do believe the fundamental route to proficiency in any language is "comprehensible input". This means reading and listening to the language - but also choosing content that you will want to read and listen to! I will help you find that content, as well as to maximise your learning from it.
