Maths tutor teaches GCSE students of all abilities

I have an A-Level in Maths and 2 years experience tutoring GCSE students at my previous school.
In my lessons I would focus on the topics my student struggles with. I would teach them in the best way that suits their teaching style, therefore I am good at adapting to certain preferences such as drawing, talking through the question, showing examples, presenting the question in a form of a game, and so on. After the student has grasped the concept I then incorporate exam questions for them to have a go at, making some up myself, looking up online and taking from previous exam papers. Finally I will give them a small piece of homework to do before the next session where we will do a quick recap at the start or end of the session so I know whether the student understands the topic of whether we should do more work on it.
