In my lessons I zoom in on the topics my students struggle with, either in class or from previous exam questions that they have gotten wrong.
I then teach them in the best way that suits them so that they learn to the best of their ability - I adapt to what is best for my students (communication is key).

I then teach them in the best way that suits them so that they learn to the best of their ability - I adapt to what is best for my students (communication is key).
Once they have grasped the concept of the topic I then give them exam questions to complete, starting with my helping them at first to me not. These will be done either in the lesson or as homework for the next session.
I like to recap the previous topic learnt at the start of every session so I know that the student is either getting to understand the topic more or has completely got it under their belt, so we should move on to the next topic they are struggling with.
I like to incorporate games, interactions, colours and activities for the student to complete to make learning Maths fun and enjoyable - that way they will want to do more in their spare time!
