I have a BA in English Literature and am soon to be a newly qualified teacher at a primary school level. My skills include a deep understanding of literary analysis, writing, and critical thinking, with a passion for fostering a love of English in my students. With experience in guiding students through both classic and contemporary texts, I aim to develop their analytical skills and writing proficiency. In my teaching, I use a variety of methods, including discussion-based lessons, creative assignments, and individualised feedback, to ensure every student can engage with the material at their own pace. I strive to make literature come alive, connecting texts to real-world issues and encouraging students to think critically and express themselves confidently.
