In my lessons, I aim to create an engaging, supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and asking questions. I use a blend of interactive activities, discussion, and structured exercises to keep lessons dynamic and fun. Whether it’s reading comprehension, writing, or general English skills, I focus on making each lesson both educational and enjoyable.
Each session is tailored to the student’s needs and learning style, ensuring that we build on their strengths while addressing areas for improvement. I often start with a brief review of previous lessons to reinforce what’s been learned, followed by new content designed to challenge and expand their knowledge. I incorporate various resources, from practice papers to videos, to help illustrate concepts and keep things varied.
For primary school students, I use a lot of hands-on activities like word games, storytelling exercises, and reading tasks that encourage creativity and critical thinking. For older students, I incorporate more structured tasks such as essay writing, comprehension tests, and exam-style questions to help them prepare for assessments.
My experience in tutoring, combined with my studies in English Literature, allows me to bring a solid understanding of language and literature to my lessons. My approach is always patient and encouraging, as I believe that confidence is key to successful learning. I aim to make every student feel supported while challenging them to reach their full potential.
