I am currently studying the PGCE Secondary Art and Design course at Manchester Metropolitan University. I have already completed one successful teaching placement at Audenshaw High School where I tutored mixed-ability boys aged 11-16. During my first placement I realised I had an abundance of natural skills and qualities that has enabled me to begin to develop as a competent teacher. These included strong communication, organisational and planning skills, positive work values and ethics, integrity, and determination to ensure I support my students. I am passionate about helping my students achieve their full potential. If I can have a positive impact on their future, I feel I am doing my job well. I believe I will have a positive impact on my students lives and have the ability to help influence them to work hard and realise the benefit of a solid educational grounding before embarking on their chosen careers.2 / 2
I supported many EAL students and teachers in many different lessons as I speak Punjabi and Urdu and helped develop resources that helped my students and colleagues.
