My extensive experience in both music and visual arts, combined with my academic background, makes me a strong candidate for this position. I hold a Master's degree in Musicology from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor's degree in Musical Anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles. These qualifications have provided me with a deep understanding of music theory, cultural contexts, and diverse musical traditions. I have taught music since 2008, and have provided instruction for guitar, bass, and beginner drums, in group settings and for private students of various ages, skill levels, and interests. I have worked with a fourth-year undergraduate student with severe learning disabilities as a private tutor in anthropology. At Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, I engaged with students of all ages with disorders ranging from dyslexia to hyperlexia, severe ADHD, and other spectrum disorders in intensive one- one-one sessions to improve coding, reading comprehension, essay writing, and occasionally maths.
