Advert description
I have a B.A Hons Degree in Fine Art, a PGCE and full QTS, have taught for 23 years in a variety of settings. I can teach Life Drawing, Painting, printmaking (etching and lino cut, Collagraph), and some Fine Art photography and Contextual studies. I am a practising Artist myself and have been in a number of shows in the South East including the Urban Art Fair, Richmond Open Studios and Orleans Gallery Twickenham. I have contacts in the Contemporary Art world and have been taught by renown artists in the 1990's. I am great at helping artists develop their ideas and philosophies, and make new discoveries about themselves.
Currently I am leading a Foundation Diploma in Chichester, and all students have done really well having just exhibited at their end of year show. I teach all ages and stages - last year my Level 2 students had a wonderful vocational experience painting a mural on a College building and they were recognised in the local press for their efforts with the Artist in Residence Trafford Parsons. The previous year, our Animation and Applied Art students worked with Pamela Howard, a scenographer, to decorate sculptures of seals in Selsey, and the one dedicated to Sir Patrick Moore was unveiled by Dr Brian May.
