Advert description
My name is Grace, I am 18-years-old and I am currently a second year student at the University of Aberdeen. I study Biomedical Science (Pharmacology) and aspire to go on to study paediatric dentistry in the future. In school I achieved all As in my 8 National 5 subjects (including maths) and all As in my 6 Higher subjects (including maths). Outside my studies I like to keep active and am a keen netballer and tennis player. I work part-time as a tennis coach, specialising in children aged 3-12. I am an organised and reliable person who really enjoys working with and helping others!
During my lessons I try to concentrate on one topic, so that focus is maintained and we get the most out of the lesson. After an initial assessment in the first lesson, I can create a lesson plan that targets any weaker areas, whilst also ensuring not to neglect the stronger areas too. For older children and teens, this plan will incorporate any tests, prelims or final exams you may have, to keep you on a good timeline. I will monitor your progress, but also encouraging self-reflection and independence on what you feel you need to work on. Most importantly, I want to keep my sessions fun and engaging so that it’s something you can enjoy!
My aim is to help you succeed and to reach your goals, however big or small!
