Recently retired with a wealth of knowledge

I have worked in University administration all my life. I have supported around 15 different Professors, including on Regius Professor of Medicine. I know most things about University life and the odd ins and outs of it. I have worked mainly in Scotland but did work in London for 14years. Working at a University gives you lots of knowledge, you meet lots of interesting people from all over the world. I also have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to younger people, having guided both my daughters though University, one still at University and also guided more junior staff through working in academia and also though life. I know being at University can be lots of fun but it can also be difficult from time to time and sometimes all someone needs is a little chat with someone. I am happy to chat to people about life in general, or even give insights into University life, I have, shall we say, nursed students through their degrees, because sometimes it better to talk to someone who is neither your supervisor or programme lead.
