Using organised presentations suited for the student’s age, whether it’s below 10 or over 12, in addition to quizzes, if necessary, and question’s appropriate to the topic being taught.

Now to do with experience, I have plenty of nephews and nieces, as well as two younger brothers, so I’ve been able to gain the ability of being patient and gentle when it comes to taking care of them in general, as well as helping them with homework.
The reason I chose to tutor such young ages is because I do not take A level maths, but I did receive a grade 8 for GCSE, hence I have the capability to teach younger ages with the “easier” topics of maths. Especially at their young age, as hopefully I can help them find it easier to learn the subject now than have to struggle in the future, which is something I had to do on my own.
Regarding travel, I do not mind going to the student’s house or to do it online, whichever is best suited for the family and the child themself.
Since this job was advertised under JobToday as a childminder, I also do not mind simply playing games and doing fun activities with the kids if the parents or guardians are occupied. It could also include helping with chores, especially encouraging the kids to help out too.
(Quick note, if it helps, I also have experience with kids with autism, my younger brother was diagnosed as a kid, as well as taking care of other kids with autism, I can adapt to their preferences when it comes to tutoring or when looking after them overall.)
