Experienced maths teacher/ tutor for all ages & levels up to GCSE Online/ London

I am currently working as a teacher in a secondary school and have been teaching for the past five years and tutoring since 2022.

I have lots of experience teaching both primary and secondary students preparing students for their 11+ exams and their GCSE's. I have helped students to gain entrance into prestigious private schools in the UK as well as supporting other students to significantly increase their predicted grades.

My pedagogy (teaching practise) stems from a wellbeing and accessibility led focus. I have taught on various academic and alternative curriculums such as the Finnish HEI and IPC curriculums using play based skills to allow for learning. I also have ample experience teaching across various SEN/ SEMH settings which allow students to prepare for their academic exams but in ways that suit them and their needs.

I offer tailored classes and sessions to assist students to focus on where they are lacking and to build skills and confidence in their work. Maths is a wonderfully exciting and important skill to master and I thoroughly enjoy teaching it and passing on my knowledge of how to help it translate better to those who struggle.
